The president of India warned that Google Earth could aid terrorists because it makes available satellite photos of potential targets. This is, of course, ludicrous. As I point out in my blog, the photos are already available, and Google claims they are from one to two years old. Google is learning what Microsoft learned several years ago --- success brings with it criticism, some justified, and some not. And things will only get worse for the search giant. Last week, word came down that Google, along with Comcast, was considering buying a stake in AOL. A Google-AOL combination?
