Despite all the rounds of holiday shopping, our community is still finding time to discuss some hot topics in the world of home networking. It's simply not good enough anymore just have a stable shared connection to the internet and some basic ability to share files. Nowadays you also need to ensure your network is well constructed for both speed and security and be on the lookout for technologies that let you do new things such as stream video from a DVR.
