Doom-and-gloom predictions about the Internet running out of address space have been circulating for more than ten years now and aren't going away. So what happens when all these addresses are finally gone?

When Will IP (v4) Addresses Run Out?
Fact is, IP addresses won't ever truly run out. They'll just start to look different. What a relief to know the Internet won't come crashing down around our ears.
