From Bradley Mitchell, your Guide to Computer Networking
I regularly receive questions from people who are the victims of email threats. Spam is one thing, but when the messages get personal and attacking, this is just plain wrong. Unfortunately, it is not so easy to track down such individuals. Sometimes reporting the messages to the email providers involved is the best that can be done.

Finding the IP Address of an Email Sender
Internet emails are designed to carry the IP address of the computer from which the email was sent. This IP address is stored in an email header delivered to the recipient along with the message. Email headers can be thought of like envelopes for postal mail... they may or not contain a useful return address.

Can IP Addresses Be Determined from MAC Addresses?
A MAC address uniquely identifies a piece of network hardware, so it seems logical to think that MAC would be an easy way to track down people and computers. Well, it doesn't really work that way.

How to Disable GeoIP In Firefox
Advertising your IP address to Web sites doesn't affect how it is used in emails, but for those Firefox users concerned with being tracked or targeted by their location, turning off GeoIP might make sense.

Buying Used Home Automation Products
ome automation can become an addictive hobby quickly. The more addictive it becomes, the more expensive it is. Buying used products can be a cost saving way to grow your home automation system.
